When I need you, where are you?
I need you to hold me when I am down
I need you to walk with me through the town
I want to collect with you a bunch of purple flowersI want a day with you, and not just few hours
I want to go to that place by the bay
The place shown in the movie… as you say
Where there is a wooden bench and the grass that smells sweet
I want to rest on your shoulder till the moon comes to greet
I want to scream with you on a rollercoaster ride
I want to get drenched with you while coming down a water slide
I want to go places with you, here… there… and everywhere
If you are with me… sometimes I too believe in a prayerA prayer to say thank you
A prayer to be with you
A prayer that is purer than chastity
A prayer that is higher than the almightyThough I’m a believer, it is a belief of different kind
If I tell you… you’ll surely mind
It’s always been impossible for me to look for Him in temples and rocks
I failed to find Him in cathedrals or in mosques
I’ve never been a pilgrim, I am not so keen
As whenever I approach my soul, I find (so called GOD) Him within
And there is another small, but the most precious corner of my soul
Where someone has spun a web, and calls it his maison
Now, my soul is taken, no more vacancy, not now… not yet!
The residents are happy… one is the being within and one is the soul mate!
